The invention discloses a parallel type hybrid power monorail crane control method. A cab, a hoisting beam, a track, a first anti-explosion container, a second anti-explosion container and a hydraulic driving part are included. The required torque in the driving process is Tr, and the optimal working interval of the torque is Te_min-Te_max; when Tr is smaller than Te_min, a pure motor driving mode is adopted; when Tr is larger than Te_min and smaller than Te_max, a pure fuel oil driving mode is adopted; and when Tr is greater than Te_max, a hybrid power driving mode is adopted. The two power sources of the diesel engine and the motor are arranged by combining the structural characteristics of the monorail crane, the whole vehicle is compact in structure and better in high-speed economical efficiency due to the parallel hybrid power connection mode, different driving modes are adopted according to different power requirements, stronger and more stable power can be provided, and the problems of insufficient power and the like of the monorail crane during urgent acceleration, steep slope climbing and high-speed running can be solved.
