According to the straddle carrier, the shimmy damping mechanism is arranged, so that the shimmy amplitude of the lifting appliance can be well reduced, and the driving safety of the straddle carrier after lifting is improved; and according to the straddle carrier, shimmy can be damped without lifting the lifting appliance to a specific height, so that the straddle carrier can adapt to lifting appliances with higher and larger sizes, and the working efficiency is improved.
