The invention discloses an adjustable lifting tool and method facilitating feeding, discharging and turning over of a workpiece and relates to the field of textile machinery workpiece machining. The adjustable lifting tool comprises a lifting beam, wherein a material suction device is arranged on the lifting beam and comprises two material suction assemblies symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the lifting beam respectively, the two material suction assemblies are used for sucking the two sides of the workpiece, a clamping device is further arranged on the lifting beam and comprises a first clamping rod assembly arranged at one end of the lifting beam and a second clamping rod assembly arranged at the other end of the lifting beam, the two clamping rod assemblies can clamp the workpiece, and the workpiece can rotate when being in a clamped state. By using the adjustable lifting tool and method disclosed by the invention, the workpiece is magnetically attracted through two symmetrically-arranged magnetic attraction seats, then feeding and discharging of the workpiece are achieved through lifting of the lifting beam, so that the workpiece is more stable and safer and is higher in efficiency in the feeding and discharging process; and the workpiece is clamped through the clamping rods and threaded rods and then is lifted through the lifting beam, and turning over of the workpiece can be achieved only by rotating the workpiece in a space, so that the adjustable lifting tool and method are more convenient, quicker and safer.
