A disclosed new energy automobile charging pile for an underground parking lot comprises a charging pile body, an underground detection box is fixedly arranged on the lower side face of the charging pile body, a charging cavity is formed in the charging pile body, an alarm mechanism is arranged on the upper side of a liquid crystal screen, and a shooting recognition mechanism is arranged on the lower side of the liquid crystal screen. A water level detection mechanism is arranged on the lower side of the shooting recognition mechanism, a detection cavity is formed in the underground detection box, a parking protection mechanism is arranged in the detection cavity, and distance detection mechanisms are arranged on the lower side and the right side of the parking protection mechanism. By mechanically judging the distance between an automobile and the charging pile through the charging pile, a camera is controlled to photograph the automobile, meanwhile, the camera can identify the type of the automobile, a pressure sensor is arranged to control a stop motor to work, and the charging pile is automatically protected from being damaged due to collision of the automobile.
