The invention relates to a protective cover, in particular a protective cover for a storage battery of an electric vehicle. The protective cover comprises a metal shell and a bag body, an upper cover fixedly connected through screws is arranged on the upper portion of the metal shell, a closed cavity is formed between the metal shell and the upper cover, the storage battery is fixed in the cavity, a space for placing a water bag is arranged between the storage battery and the inner wall and the upper portion of the cavity, and an alkaline solution is packaged in the water bag. The alkaline solution is packaged in the water bag, so that heat dissipated by the storage battery can be absorbed by the alkaline solution in the water bag in the charging process of the storage battery or the running process of the electric vehicle, and the temperature of the storage battery cannot rise too high; and through protection of the metal shell, explosion can only be carried out in the shell, the water bag is damaged during explosion, the alkaline solution flows out instantly, heat generated by explosion of the storage battery is cooled, meanwhile, the alkaline solution can chemically react with acid electrolyte in the storage battery, and energy generated by explosion of the storage battery is further reduced. The protective cover is simple in structure, and effectively reduces property loss and harm to a body when the storage battery explodes.

    一种电动车电瓶的防护罩,涉及一种防护罩,包括金属壳体和袋体,在金属壳体的上部设有通过螺丝固定连接的上盖,金属壳体与上盖之间形成一个密闭的腔体,腔体内固定有电瓶,在电瓶与腔体内壁及上部之间设有放置水袋的空间,水袋内封装有碱性溶液;本发明通过在水袋内封装有碱性溶液,在对电瓶充电过程中或电动车行驶的过程中电瓶散发的热量会被水袋中的碱性溶液吸收,使电瓶温度不会升的过高;金属壳体的保护使爆炸只能在壳体内进行,爆炸时水袋损坏,碱性溶液瞬间流出,在给电瓶爆炸的热量降温的同时又能与电瓶内的酸性电解液进行化学反应,进一步降低电瓶爆炸产生的能量;本发明结构简单,有效减小了电瓶爆炸时的财产损失和对身体的伤害。
