The invention discloses a brake-by-wire system with mechanical backup brake assistance, a control method, a storage medium and a terminal. The brake-by-wire system comprises a brake master cylinder booster cavity, a booster cavity hydraulic control one-way valve, a booster cavity energy accumulator and an energy accumulator one-way valve; and the brake master cylinder booster cavity is arranged between the brake pedal and the brake master cylinder, the brake master cylinder booster cavity is connected with the pressurizing cavity energy accumulator through the pressurizing cavity hydraulic control one-way valve, a first cavity of the brake master cylinder is communicated with a pilot control loop of the booster cavity hydraulic control one-way valve, and the booster cavity energy accumulator is connected with the drive-by-wire pressure source through the energy accumulator one-way valve. The pressure released by the booster cavity energy accumulator is stored in the booster cavity of the brake master cylinder, and the pressure released by the drive-by-wire pressure source is stored in the booster cavity energy accumulator, so that the pedal force demand of a driver when a large braking force is requested during mechanical backup braking is reduced, the braking force assistance is quickly provided, and the mechanical backup braking effect is improved.
