The invention provides a low-visibility passing vehicle guiding system and method based on vehicle-road cooperation, and the system comprises: an information sensing module which is used for collecting the real-time information of a vehicle, a road area environment and a traffic state; a cooperative calculation module which is used for performing cooperative calculation based on the roadside data and the vehicle end data, accurately sensing road domain and traffic flow information through data fusion and planning a recommended path; a digital twinning module which is used for constructing accurate mapping of a real physical highway and a digital twinning highway based on the perception data and an infrastructure model; and a multi-mode communication module which is used for realizing information interaction of vehicle and road clouds in a cellular communication or direct communication mode; the environment, road and traffic states are comprehensively sensed through multiple sensing devices and cooperative calculation, information transmission is carried out by adopting different transmission modes according to information levels, and finally, beyond-visual-range road area information service and path guidance are realized through information release based on augmented reality.
