The invention discloses a train power supply cabinet with a grounding resistance loop and a passenger train. The power supply cabinet comprises a first power supply cabinet LG1 and a second power supply cabinet LG2 which are respectively connected with a train load, wherein the first power supply cabinet LG1 comprises a first alternating current power supply circuit and a first grounding resistor GRe1, one side of the first alternating current power supply circuit is connected with a vehicle load to provide a first path of alternating current for the vehicle load, and the other side of the first alternating current power supply circuit is grounded through the first grounding resistor GRe1; the second power supply cabinet LG2 comprises a second alternating current power supply circuit and a second grounding resistor GRe2, one side of the second alternating current power supply circuit is connected with the vehicle load to provide a second path of alternating current for the vehicle load, and the other side of the second alternating current power supply circuit is grounded through the second grounding resistor GRe2. According to the train power supply cabinet, the two alternating current power supply circuits are electrically independent from each other, and the problem that electric leakage cannot be detected correctly is solved by adding a grounding resistor to a grounding loop.
