The method comprises the steps that the lifting ring placing position and the positioning angle are determined according to the welding machine shell structure; according to the positioning angle, mechanical analysis is conducted on the welded machine shell in the hoisting state, and a hoisting ring size parameter table is output; the hanging ring size parameter table comprises the weight of the welding shell, and the hanging ring diameter, the hanging ring fillet radius, the hanging ring thickness and the minimum distance between the hanging ring and the outer wall of the welding shell corresponding to the weight of the welding shell; and according to the positioning angle and the size parameter table, the hanging ring is connected to the welding machine shell, so that assembling of the hanging ring on the welding machine shell is completed. According to the lifting ring assembling method for the centrifugal compressor welding machine shell, lifting rings of various centrifugal compressor machine shells are designed according to the positioning angles of the lifting rings and the size parameter table, so that the lifting rings are reasonable in placement position and meet the strength requirement, and the lifting ring parameter table has good universality; and the standardization requirements on the design of various compressor shell lifting rings are met.
