The present disclosure relates to a foldable brake pedal device for an autonomous vehicle, in a manual driving mode in which a driver manually drives the vehicle, a pedal pad protrudes from a pedal housing to be exposed toward the driver in an ejected state, thereby enabling the driver to operate the pedal pad. In particular, in an automatic driving mode in which a driver does not manually drive a vehicle, a pedal pad is inserted into a pedal housing and is prevented from being exposed to the driver in a hidden state, thereby making the driver unable to operate the pedal pad.
