The circuit comprises a first port, a second port, a third port, a first multi-phase boost-buck module and a second multi-phase boost-buck module, the first port is used for connecting a first power supply, and the second port and the third port are both used for connecting a second power supply; when the multi-phase boost-buck circuit is in a charging mode, the second power supply charges the first power supply, and when the multi-phase boost-buck circuit is in a discharging mode, the first power supply discharges to the second power supply; the method comprises the following steps: when the multi-phase boost-buck circuit is in a charging mode, controlling the multi-phase boost-buck circuit to work in a BUCK mode; and when the multi-phase boost-buck circuit is in the discharge mode, controlling the multi-phase boost-buck circuit to work in a BOOST mode. According to the invention, the multiphase boost-buck circuit can be controlled, so that the multiphase boost-buck circuit can be applied to a bidirectional charging pile system.
