Systems and methods for assembling aircraft fuselages are provided, in particular frame mounting stations for segments of aircraft fuselages. An embodiment is a method for assembling an aircraft fuselage. The method includes indexing an arcuate section of the fuselage to a frame mounting station, feeding a frame into a recess defined by the arcuate section at the frame mounting station, placing the frame against an inner mold line (IML) of the arcuate section while the frame is within the recess, and securing the frame to the arcuate section.
