The invention relates to a sound simulation method for a driving motor, which comprises the following steps: acquiring the running state of a vehicle in real time, including the current speed of the vehicle and the rotating speed of the driving motor; a plurality of harmonic currents are actively injected into a control signal of the motor according to the running state of the vehicle; the harmonic current flows through a stator winding of the driving motor and generates an alternating magnetic field in an air gap between a stator and a rotor, the alternating magnetic field generates alternating electromagnetic force, the alternating electromagnetic force acts on a stator and a shell of the driving motor to generate low-frequency vibration, and then sound is radiated; the low-frequency vibration made sound is changed by changing the multiple harmonic currents, so that modulation sound is obtained through modulation, and the modulation sound is used for simulating sound waves made by a fuel engine. Compared with the prior art, the driving motor is made to emit low-frequency modulation sound, so that sound of a fuel engine is simulated, linkage of back pushing feeling and sound waves is achieved, and the driving feeling of a new energy automobile is improved acoustically.
