Example embodiments relate to microlenses for sensing stray light in real time. An example apparatus includes an image sensor including a plurality of photosensitive pixels. The device also includes a first lens over a first subset of photosensitive pixels selected from the plurality of photosensitive pixels. Further, the apparatus includes a controller. The controller is configured to determine a first angle of incidence of a first light signal detected by a first subset of the photosensitive pixels. The controller is further configured to determine an amount of stray light incident on the image sensor based on the first determined angle of incidence.
