The invention provides a virtual automobile cabin humidity sensor method and system, and the method comprises the following steps: a compartment humidity equation establishment step: building an ordinary differential equation according to the water vapor mass conservation on the internal volume of an automobile compartment, and obtaining a compartment water vapor mass conservation equation; an in-vehicle absolute humidity obtaining step: inputting conditions, solving a carriage water vapor mass conservation equation, and obtaining the in-vehicle absolute humidity in the carriage; and a humidity parameter acquisition step: calculating an air humidity parameter in the vehicle by combining the absolute humidity in the vehicle with the air temperature in the vehicle. The invention provides a virtual humidity sensor method for calculating and predicting the humidity in the vehicle by using a mathematical model, and the problems that the number of parts is increased and the manufacturing cost is increased can be effectively solved by using the method.
