A moving body and a moving method are characterized in that, in a moving body such as a vehicle, a ship, a construction machine, or a robot, the moving body generates an'inertia force 'by cutting off energy (gasoline, a battery, or the like), travels using the'inertia force', travels by applying energy again before the traveling speed reaches zero, and then cuts off the energy. Therefore, fuel can be saved, and the driving distance is prolonged.
