The invention relates to a new energy vehicle V2L discharge remaining mileage display method and system.The method comprises the steps that a BMS collects vehicle battery electric quantity information and sends the vehicle battery electric quantity information to a vehicle control unit through CAN communication, the vehicle control unit calculates the vehicle remaining mileage after receiving the electric quantity information, the vehicle remaining mileage is sent to a discharge socket controller through CAN communication, and the discharge socket controller is connected with the BMS; and the discharge socket controller identifies the remaining mileage information and displays the remaining mileage information on the discharge socket display screen. According to the invention, the remaining electric quantity of the vehicle is displayed and integrated in the discharge socket, so that a user can know the electric quantity state of the vehicle more clearly and visually when using power outdoors, and the problem that the vehicle cannot normally drive to a charging place due to excessive power consumption is prevented; an LED display screen is additionally arranged through the V2L discharging device, and the remaining driving mileage information of the vehicle is transmitted to the V2L discharging device through a charging and discharging interface and is displayed through the LED display screen of the V2L discharging device; vehicle remaining mileage information can be observed more visually, and the user experience is improved.
