The invention discloses a real-time video stream vehicle retrograde event detection method and system. The method comprises the following steps: setting a preset direction on a frame image; setting a virtual marker at a position which is in a direction opposite to the preset direction on the frame image and is theta away from the to-be-detected vehicle; establishing a rectangular plane coordinate system based on the frame image; obtaining the distance d1 from the coordinate of the projection of the to-be-detected vehicle on the x-axis in the frame image at any moment to the original point of the rectangular plane coordinate system, and the distance d2 from the coordinate of the projection of the virtual marker on the x-axis to the original point of the rectangular plane coordinate system, when d1-d2lt; and when 0, judging that the to-be-detected vehicle has a suspected retrograde event. The invention provides a new to-be-detected vehicle driving state judgment method aiming at the motion characteristics of a to-be-detected vehicle in a video stream. The position change condition of the to-be-detected vehicle is extracted based on a target tracking algorithm, and the current motion state of the to-be-detected vehicle is reflected according to a continuous position change result.
本发明公开了一种实时视频流车辆逆行事件检测方法及系统,该方法包括以下步骤:在帧图上设置预设方向;并在帧图上的预设方向反方向距离待检测车辆为θ的位置设置虚拟标记物;基于帧图建立平面直角坐标系;获取任意时刻帧图中待检测车辆在x轴上投影的坐标距离平面直角坐标系原点的距离d1,以及虚拟标记物在x轴上投影的坐标距离平面直角坐标系原点的距离d2,当d1‑d2<0时,判定待检测车辆发生疑似逆行事件。本发明针对视频流待检测车辆的运动特点提出了一种新的待检测车辆行驶状态判定方法——基于目标跟踪算法提取待检测车辆的位置变化情况,根据连续位置变化结果来反映待检测车辆的当前运动状态。
