The method comprises the steps of obtaining a simulation image data set during simulation operation of a target road based on a first branch road design scheme and a second branch road design scheme; inputting the analog image data set into a traffic flow detection model, and extracting a vehicle space coordinate corresponding to each image in the analog image data set through the traffic flow detection model; performing traffic flow detection on the analog image data set according to the vehicle space coordinates to obtain a traffic flow data set; according to the traffic flow data set, calculating the traffic flow rationality of the branch trunk road to obtain a first branch trunk road rationality and a second branch trunk road rationality; and selecting a target branch trunk road design scheme from the first branch trunk road design scheme and the second branch trunk road design scheme according to the first branch trunk road rationality and the second branch trunk road rationality.
