The method comprises the steps that firstly, any two of n elevators are set to be in a traditional elevator operation mode; secondly, it is ensured that an elevator is located on the first floor at any time, and the distance between each floor and the nearest elevator does not exceed the distance between the nearest elevator and the second floor from the second floor to the second floor; and then, when the elevator runs, the conditions are kept unchanged through an algorithm. Fault detection and overload protection are arranged, the waiting time of passengers is shortened, and the operation efficiency is improved.
