The invention provides an exterior inspection device which can easily and smoothly inspect the relative position relation between various front cover louver boards with different shapes and other parts. The exterior trim inspection device is used for temporarily assembling exterior trim parts of a vehicle to a simulated vehicle body to inspect at least one of the relative positional relationship between each part of the exterior trim parts and each part of the simulated vehicle body and the relative positional relationship between each part of a plurality of exterior trim parts. The simulated vehicle body has a front cover model, and a part of the front cover model is configured from an attachment/detachment model that is attachable/detachable to/from the main body model. The attachment/detachment model has a first attachment surface and a second attachment surface which are configured so as to be able to attach at least a portion of two types of front cover louvers. When the attachment and detachment model is combined with the main body model, a first state in which the attachment and detachment model is combined with the main body model in a manner that the first attachment surface becomes the upper surface and a second state in which the second attachment surface becomes the upper surface can be selectively formed.
