The invention provides a material shortage detection method and device and unmanned equipment. The method comprises the steps that whether a material box lacks materials or not is detected through radar equipment, and the detection face of the radar equipment faces a discharging opening of the material box; the discharging port is provided with a rotary feeding mechanism used for outputting materials. The method comprises the steps that a first echo signal generated after the radar equipment transmits a signal to the discharging port is obtained; whether materials exist in the rotary feeding mechanism or not is determined based on the first echo signal; and when no material exists in the rotary feeding mechanism, it is determined that the material box is in a material shortage state. According to the technical scheme, the precision of material measurement can be improved.

    本申请提供了一种缺料检测方法及装置、无人设备。该方法包括:用于通过雷达设备检测料箱是否缺料,所述雷达设备的检测面朝向所述料箱的出料口;所述出料口设置有用于输出物料的转动送料机构,包括:获取所述雷达设备朝所述出料口发射信号后产生的第一回波信号;基于所述第一回波信号确定所述转动送料机构中是否存在物料;当所述转动送料机构不存在物料时,确定所述料箱处于缺料状态。本申请的技术方案能够提高物料测量的精度。
