The invention provides a xenon working medium electric propulsion and cold air propulsion dual-mode propulsion system in the technical field of space propulsion, which comprises a gas storage module and a pressure regulating module which are sequentially connected in series, an electric propulsion module and a cold air propulsion module are connected in parallel at the downstream, and the modules are controlled by a control and power module. Wherein the gas storage module, the pressure regulation module and the control and power module are common modules for electric propulsion and cold air propulsion. The electric propulsion system has the advantages that compared with a single electric propulsion system, the problem that the electric propulsion system cannot provide large control torque is solved, since xenon is shared as a working medium, xenon needed by cold air propulsion and xenon needed by electric propulsion are backup for each other, the system integration degree is high, the strict limitation of an artificial satellite on the size and control resources of the propulsion system can be met, and the application range is wide. Compared with an independent cold air propelling system, large-range stable adjustment of thrust of the cold air thruster is achieved, and due to the fact that isentropic expansion pressure reduction is adopted in the system, energy loss in the pressure reduction process is reduced, and temperature control power consumption needed by the system is reduced.
本发明提供了空间推进技术领域一种氙工质电推进与冷气推进双模式推进系统,系统组成为由贮气模块、压力调节模块依次串联,下游并联电推进模块与冷气推进模块,上述模块受控制及功率模块控制,其中贮气模块、压力调节模块、控制及功率模块为电推进与冷气推进的共用模块。其优点是相对于单一电推进系统,解决了电推进系统无法提供大的控制力矩的问题,并且由于共用氙气作为工质,冷气推进与电推进所需氙气互为备份,系统集成度高,可满足人造卫星对推进系统体积及控制资源的严格限制,相对于独立的冷气推进系统,实现了冷气推力器推力大范围稳定调节,并且由于系统采用等熵膨胀减压,减小减压过程中的能量损失,系统所需温控功耗降低。
