An air conditioning device for a railway vehicle includes a compressor that compresses a refrigerant, a condenser that condenses the compressed refrigerant, an expander that expands the condensed refrigerant, an evaporator that evaporates the expanded refrigerant, and refrigerant piping that connects the compressor, the condenser, the expander, and the evaporator. One of the condenser and the evaporator is an indoor heat exchanger, and the other one is an outdoor heat exchanger. A main body (330) of at least one of the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger has a laminated structure in which plate-shaped heat transfer members (310) formed in a plate shape and fins (320) are alternately laminated in the thickness direction of the plate-shaped heat transfer members (310). A plurality of refrigerant flow paths (311) through which a refrigerant flows are formed in each of the plate-shaped heat transfer members (310). The plurality of refrigerant flow paths (311) are arranged in the direction in which air passes through the fins (320).
