The invention provides a vehicle power control method. The vehicle power control method comprises the steps that a vehicle power switching requirement is obtained based on preset operation executed by a driver on a vehicle and the current hand holding characteristic of a steering wheel; in response to the acquisition of the power switching demand of the vehicle, analyzing and determining the executability of power switching; and controlling the vehicle to execute the power switching operation under the condition that the power switching is determined to be executable. According to the vehicle power control method, a driver can complete vehicle power switching without additional operation of dispersing the driving energy, the operation time is saved, and the driving safety is improved. Moreover, the power switching requirement is determined according to the holding position of the driver on the steering wheel, misoperation can be avoided, it can be ensured that the driver can stably control the steering wheel after power switching, and therefore the driving safety is further improved. The invention further provides a corresponding vehicle power control system, a computer program product and a vehicle.
