The invention belongs to the field of unmanned aerial vehicle structure design, and particularly relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle take-off device and method based on a rope. The device comprises a slip rope, wherein the upper end of the slip rope is fixedly mounted on a high-altitude element; and the sliding block is fixedly installed on the rear side of the gravity center of the unmanned aerial vehicle, and the sliding block is in sliding connection with the sliding rope. The method comprises the steps that an unmanned aerial vehicle is installed on a high-altitude element, and an unmanned aerial vehicle take-off device based on a rope is assembled; the unmanned aerial vehicle is thrown from a high-altitude element, the unmanned aerial vehicle is accelerated through gravity, and after the vertical fin acting speed of the unmanned aerial vehicle is reached, the sliding block is disengaged from the lower end of the sliding rope. The unmanned aerial vehicle take-off device and method based on the rope are suitable for complex occasions, and the requirements for a runway and a launching device can be lowered. The use conditions of the unmanned aerial vehicle are enriched, and compared with a conventional take-off and landing mode, the unmanned aerial vehicle can be repeatedly used and is lower in cost.
