The undercarriage buffer filling state inspection method provided by the invention comprises the following steps: acquiring a buffer air cavity pressure value based on a pressure sensor; based on a temperature sensor, acquiring an environment temperature value of the buffer; based on a buffer piston rod overhanging amount sensor, the buffer piston rod overhanging amount is obtained; wherein the buffer piston rod overhanging amount sensor directly measures the overhanging amount of the piston rod or indirectly measures the overhanging amount of the piston rod; based on the buffer gas cavity pressure value and the environment temperature value, the volume of gas compression in a gas cavity is calculated; calculating the press-in amount of the piston rod entering the outer cylinder based on the volume of compressed gas in the gas cavity of the buffer and whether the buffer is provided with an annular oil cavity or not; calculating the extension amount of the piston rod based on the press-in amount of the piston rod entering the outer cylinder and the extension amount of the piston rod when the buffer is fully extended; and comparing the calculated extension amount of the piston rod with the measured extension amount of the piston rod to give a conclusion whether the buffer filling is normal or not.
