The method comprises the following steps: judging whether a main system fails in operation or not according to acquired operation information of the main system, and classifying the operation failures of the main system; when the main system fails to operate, the current rotation angle of a motor of the main system is obtained, and the motor angle of the standby system is adjusted to the adaptive angle according to the current rotation angle of the motor of the main system; according to the adaptive angle, a gear corresponding to a motor of the standby system is meshed with a gear corresponding to a gate rod of the barrier gate, and a gear corresponding to a motor of the main system is separated from the gear corresponding to the gate rod of the barrier gate; and according to the classification of the operation failure of the main system, the standby system is adopted to lift the gate rod of the barrier gate. The barrier gate effectively solves the problem of faults caused by a single system of an existing barrier gate, and ensures barrier-free access of vehicles in an unattended parking lot.
