A fly-by-wire flight control system and method are disclosed. The main computer calculates a control surface control instruction according to manipulation input, and the first secondary computer and the second secondary computer generate a first control surface driving signal and a second control surface driving signal respectively based on the control surface control instruction provided by the main computer. The second secondary computer is non-similar to the first secondary computer. And the first actuator and the second actuator drive the aircraft control surface according to the first control surface driving signal and the second control surface driving signal respectively. The first actuator and the second actuator may include different types of actuators. Under the working condition of power supply failure of the main power supply or common-mode failure of the first secondary computer, the standby power supply of the second secondary computer can be activated to ensure that the aircraft can still fly and land safely. A fly-by-wire control method is also disclosed.
