The invention discloses a traffic sign detection and identification method based on YOLOv8, and particularly relates to the technical field of computer vision and image processing, and the method comprises the following specific steps: 1, data collection: transmitting traffic data collected at each traffic intersection to a cloud database for storage, and transmitting the acquired data of each traffic walking path to a cloud database for storage. According to the invention, a camera is adopted to collect traffic sign data, traffic walking path collection data, intersection vehicle following reference data, single vehicle walking data and intersection traffic light changing data in real time, and detected data in all directions are compared with data of a cloud database; according to the method, the trees around the intersection vehicle-following traffic walking path can be used as reference substances for identification, the reference substances can be automatically identified according to the intersection vehicle-following vehicles, the single vehicle walking data and the intersection traffic light changing data, and the accuracy of traffic sign detection and identification is better.

    本发明公开了一种基于YOLOv8的交通标志检测与识别方法,具体涉及计算机视觉、图像处理技术领域,包括具体步骤如下:步骤一、采集数据,将各个交通路口所采集到的交通数据输送到云数据库中储存,再将每一个交通行走路径采集数据输送到云数据库中储存。本发明采用摄像头实时采集交通标志数据、交通行走路径采集数据、路口跟车参考数据、单车量行走数据、路口红绿灯交通变灯数据,检测到的各个方向的数据与云数据库的数据做对比,可以根据路口跟车交通行走路径周边树木作为参考物识别,还可以根据路口跟车车辆、单车量行走数据、路口红绿灯交通变灯数据自动识别参考物,检测与识别交通标志精确性更好。
