The method comprises the following steps: acquiring vehicle body structure parameters of a target vehicle and actual environment parameters of a running environment of the target vehicle; according to the vehicle body structure parameters and the actual environment parameters, the actual vehicle body hourly heat gaining amount of the target vehicle in the operation environment is obtained, and the actual air conditioner hourly refrigeration load of the target vehicle in the operation environment is determined according to the actual vehicle body hourly heat gaining amount; the theoretical air conditioner hourly refrigeration load of the target vehicle in the theoretical environment is obtained; and according to the actual air conditioner hourly refrigeration load and the theoretical air conditioner hourly refrigeration load, the target rotating speed is determined, and a compressor of the target vehicle is controlled to work according to the target rotating speed. By the adoption of the method, appropriate compressor power can be matched according to the air conditioner cooling load requirements of different regions, redundant energy consumption can be reduced, and the energy-saving effect of the new energy vehicle air conditioner compressor can be improved.
