本发明公开一种LDSW车辆碰撞保护系统及车辆碰撞主动检测方法,通过实时采集周围车辆与驾驶车辆的相对距离与相对速度、本车加速度以及车道行驶信息,并进行周围车辆与驾驶车辆的LDSW自组网通信;对实时采集周围车辆与驾驶车辆的相对距离与相对速度、本车加速度以及车道行驶信息进行分析处理,得到分析结果;判断驾驶车辆的行驶态势,并根据行驶态势的判定结果,输出控制信号;进而接收该控制信号,并基于控制信号对驾驶车辆与驾驶车辆构成危险局面或碰撞局面的周围车辆进行碰撞预警。通过预判可能发生的碰撞危险局面及危险等级,进行及时预警,提高车与车之间的提前协同避让的可能性和有效性,最大限度降低碰撞损害程度。
