The invention relates to the field of power grid analysis, and discloses a reliability evaluation method and device for a power distribution network accessed by an electric vehicle, and the method comprises the following steps: S1, collecting actual load data, including the charging load of the electric vehicle; s2, constructing a power system simulation model which comprises a power distribution network topological structure, node parameters and a load model; s3, inputting the acquired actual load data into the power system simulation model; s4, through analogue simulation, analyzing the influence on the power peak value and the load rate of the power distribution network after the electric vehicle is accessed, and evaluating the reliability level of the power distribution network to which the electric vehicle is accessed; and S5, providing corresponding optimization suggestions and measures according to an evaluation result. By comprehensively considering the influence of the charging load of the electric vehicle on the power distribution network, a beneficial evaluation tool and guidance are provided for operation management and planning design of the power distribution network, so that the reliability and stability of the power distribution network are improved.
