The method comprises the steps that the expected energy efficiency is determined based on the expected mileage and the expected consumed electric quantity input by a user; importing the expected energy efficiency and target energy efficiency of the electric moped into a preset error algorithm, and calculating an energy efficiency error between the expected energy efficiency and the target energy efficiency; based on the energy efficiency error, determining a power-assisted ratio variable quantity corresponding to the electric power-assisted vehicle; and adjusting the power-assisted ratio of the electric moped based on the power-assisted ratio variable quantity. Through the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the electric moped can automatically adjust the power assisting ratio according to the riding demand of the user, and better riding experience is provided for the user.
