A vertical fixed wing folding structure comprises a wing folding structure and a locking mechanism, one side and the other side of the wing folding structure are fixed to a fixed wing spar and a folding wing spar of a vertical take-off and landing machine respectively, and the wing folding structure comprises hinges connected to the upper surfaces of the fixed wing spar and the folding wing spar. A screw retracting and releasing module is arranged between the fixed wing spar and the folding wing spar and is driven by a driving motor embedded in the fixed wing spar, the locking mechanism comprises a positioning plate fixedly arranged in the folding wing spar, a positioning hole is formed in the end part of the positioning plate, a steering engine and a ball head pull rod are arranged in the fixed wing spar, and the positioning hole is formed in the end part of the positioning plate. A limiting inserting hole is formed in the end of the ball head pull rod, the limiting pin is slidably connected into the limiting inserting hole in a sleeved mode, one end of the limiting pin is connected with the steering engine through a pull rope, and the limiting pin is inserted into the positioning hole. The wingspan of the aircraft in the hangar can be reduced to 60% of the wingspan in a cruise operation state, so that the size of the hangar is remarkably reduced, and the building cost of the hangar is saved.
