The invention relates to the technical field of electric power early warning, and discloses an early warning method and system for channel crossing of a power transmission line, and the method comprises the steps: carrying out the target detection of a ship monitoring video, marking a ship detected in the ship monitoring video, obtaining the AIS information of the marked ship, and carrying out the early warning of channel crossing of the power transmission line; whether the marked ship easily collides with the power transmission line is judged by using the ship collision prediction model, and the collision early warning signal is generated and sent to the monitoring background, so that early warning is performed on the collided ship, and the early warning accuracy and early warning efficiency of the ship in the channel crossing of the power transmission line are improved.
