The present invention relates to a rubber composition which has high rigidity without using a high content of a reinforcing filler or without using a reinforcing resin while having improved limit properties. The composition is based on at least one elastomeric matrix comprising greater than 50 phr of at least one copolymer comprising ethylene units and diene units, from 0 phr to 50 phr of a reinforcing filler, at least 3 phr of a polyethylene and a crosslinking system.
