The invention discloses a torque sensing system (31) comprising a fixed part (50) with a power transmission copper coil (62) and a rotating part (10) rotatable relative to the fixed part about a rotational axis (C-C, D-D, F-F), the rotating part (10) having a body (12) which can be in fixed engagement with a vehicle centre shaft (33), the rotating shaft (C-C, D-D, F-F) is used for receiving torque input from a vehicle middle shaft (33) and rotating around a rotating shaft (C-C, D-D, F-F) at the same time; a one-way wedge clutch (35) having an outer circumferential surface (43) for engaging with the one-way wedge clutch (35) and transmitting said torque input to the one-way wedge clutch (35), four strain gauges (40a, 40b, 40c, 40d) fixedly engaged with the body (12) for sensing the torque exerted on the body (12) and outputting a torque-related signal representative of the magnitude of the torque exerted on the body (12); a power receiving copper coil (24) for wirelessly receiving power transmitted by the power transmission copper coil (62) of the fixed member (50); and a printed circuit board (16), the first large surface (17) of which is substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation (C-C, D-D, F-F).
