The wheel stopper comprises an acceleration module, a storage module, a calculation module, a satellite positioning module, a LoRa communication module, a power supply and a wheel stopper body, the acceleration module is used for acquiring the acceleration at each acquisition moment; the storage module is used for storing accelerations at a plurality of acquisition moments; the calculation module is used for judging whether the displacement exceeds the daily position range or not according to the acceleration at the current and adjacent acquisition moments; if not, the acceleration module is continuously controlled to obtain the acceleration and store the acceleration to the storage module; if yes, controlling a satellite positioning module to obtain satellite positioning coordinates; and sending the identification code and the satellite positioning coordinates to a supervision platform through a LoRa communication module according to the obtained satellite positioning coordinates. By judging whether the wheel stopper exceeds the daily management position or not, the timeliness and low energy consumption of position monitoring are considered.
