The invention relates to early warning and collision avoidance. The method of the present invention comprises fusing received data about road and driving conditions, data about the locations of static objects and moving ground traffic entities, data about the driving quality of a driver of a road vehicle, messages about the conditions of on-board safety systems of other ground traffic entities, basic safety messages specified by the regulatory system, and personal safety messages specified by the regulatory system, and apply the fused data and messages to an artificial intelligence model to predict actions of a driver of the road vehicle or a vulnerable road user, or a risk of collision or fluke-free collision of the road vehicle, or both.
