The invention relates to a battery fire risk assessment method and related equipment. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an active safety parameter, a passive safety parameter and an intrinsic safety parameter of a battery; inputting the active safety parameter, the passive safety parameter and the intrinsic safety parameter into a preset index calculation model to output a battery fire risk index; and evaluating the fire risk of the battery according to the fire risk index, and generating an evaluation result of the fire risk of the battery. And calculating a battery fire risk index through a preset index calculation model in combination with the active safety parameter, the passive safety parameter and the intrinsic safety parameter, and evaluating the battery fire risk according to the battery fire risk index. The problem that the accuracy of battery fire prevention is poor due to the fact that the calculation result of the battery fire risk is calculated only depending on data such as temperature and smoke is solved, and the battery fire risk assessment method has the effect of accurately assessing the battery fire risk.
