The invention provides a spatio-temporal information fusion method and system based on data preprocessing, and relates to the technical field of intelligent traffic, and the method comprises the steps: connecting a traffic management platform, accessing the platform based on an access permission, obtaining historical traffic data of a target region, then preprocessing the data, obtaining a standard data set, and storing the standard data set in a database; the method comprises the following steps: acquiring a target area, extracting traffic space features of the target area, extracting time features, carrying out space-time information fusion based on the two features, constructing a space-time fusion model, and carrying out traffic management on the target area based on the space-time fusion model. The problems that information such as road information and traffic conditions is not accurately acquired, commuting time and energy consumption are increased, and traffic management efficiency is low are mainly solved. Through the spatio-temporal information fusion method, the traffic condition can be monitored and predicted more accurately, so that the intelligent level of an intelligent traffic system is improved. Sustainability of a traffic system is improved, and cities are more livable.
