The invention relates to an underwater navigation system for precisely positioning a marine floating platform. The system comprises a first navigation antenna and a second navigation antenna which are mounted on the platform. The device is installed on the platform, and the position of the device is collinear with the positions of the two antennas. The position of the system may be calculated from the range of the two antennas relative to the base station, a known distance between the two antennas, and a known distance from one of the antennas to the device.
