The invention relates to an improved superconducting electric machine stator (1) comprising a low-temperature cooler (10) in the form of a ring, inside which superconductive windings (12) are arranged, each superconductive winding being positioned on a hybrid structure (16), the hybrid structure is formed from at least a stack of an iron element (16a) and an element (16b) made of a material having high thermal conductivity, such as a special ceramic, such as sapphire, copper, diamond or aluminum. Thus, it is possible to obtain an optimized ratio between the cooling capacity of the superconducting winding (12) and the weight of the stator (1), which is particularly advantageous in the case of an aircraft superconducting electric machine comprising such a stator (1).
