The invention provides an automatic switching method and device for all-terrain modes, an automobile and electronic equipment. The automatic switching method for the all-terrain mode comprises the following steps: acquiring an image recognition result obtained by a visual system of a vehicle and a confidence coefficient corresponding to the image recognition result; the image recognition result is obtained by comparing and recognizing collected ground image information; obtaining a road surface recognition result obtained based on the vehicle parameter data acquisition function and a confidence coefficient corresponding to the road surface recognition result; the road surface recognition result is obtained by comparing and recognizing the collected vehicle parameter data; if the image recognition result is inconsistent with the current feature road surface represented by the road surface recognition result, deciding the image recognition result and the road surface recognition result according to the confidence coefficient of the image recognition result and the confidence coefficient of the road surface recognition result, and outputting a mode determined from all-terrain driving modes of the vehicle; and controlling the vehicle to enter the determined mode.
