The automobile engine hood comprises an engine hood assembly and an electromagnetic adjusting hinge assembly. The engine hood assembly comprises an engine hood and at least one pressure sensor arranged in the engine hood; the electromagnetic adjusting hinge assembly comprises a plurality of electromagnetic spring assemblies; the electromagnetic spring assembly comprises an electromagnetic spring support and a rotating hinge arranged on the electromagnetic spring support. The rotating hinge is used for supporting the engine hood; a spring controller is mounted on the electromagnetic spring support; the pressure sensor is electrically connected with the spring controller and used for sending a detected pressure signal to the spring controller so that the spring controller can adjust the rigidity of the electromagnetic spring support according to the pressure signal. The rigidity of the electromagnetic spring support is adjusted in time through the spring controller, the deformation space of the electromagnetic spring support and the contraction space of the engine cover are changed, and harm to pedestrians when a vehicle collides with the pedestrians is reduced.
