The invention relates to an intersection entrance lane dynamic monitoring and optimal configuration method. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, constructing an objective function of intersection entrance lane function optimal configuration; step 2, constructing a dynamic monitoring mechanism of the utilization efficiency of the entrance lane at the intersection; step 3, adopting a traffic flow prediction method to realize distribution of intersection entrance lane functions; and step 4, establishing a protection mechanism for function switching of the entrance lane. The system is suitable for a whole network connection road traffic environment, that is, whether a manual driving vehicle or an automatic driving vehicle has a networking communication function, can exchange information with a traffic signal control machine, and is very wide in application.
