The invention belongs to the technical field of flight control, and particularly relates to an airplane dual-drive control surface single actuator unhooking fault monitoring method and device. The method comprises the following steps: S1, acquiring a first actuator position and a second actuator position fed back by two actuators for controlling a control surface on one side of an aircraft; s2, two actuator positions fed back by two actuators for controlling the control surface on the other side of the aircraft are obtained, and correction is carried out through preset correction coefficients so as to obtain the position of a third actuator and the position of a fourth actuator; and S3, comparing the positions of the four actuators in pairs, determining the position of the other actuator deviating from the positions of the three actuators through a preset error threshold, and taking the corresponding actuator as the actuator with the unhooking fault. A control surface position sensor is omitted, the weight of the system is reduced, and the reliability of the system is improved.
