The invention relates to the field of vehicle control. A vehicle energy recovery method comprises the steps that the states of an acceleration controller, a brake controller and a human body are obtained; under the condition that a human body makes contact with an acceleration controller and the acceleration controller does not output a signal, the energy recovery parameter is configured to be preset 1; under the condition that the human body does not make contact with an acceleration controller and a brake controller, the energy recovery parameter is configured to be preset 2; under the condition that a human body makes contact with a brake controller and the brake controller does not output a signal, the energy recovery parameter is configured to be 3 in advance; and under the condition that a human body touches the brake controller and the brake controller outputs a signal, the energy recovery parameter is configured to be preset 4. The preset 1-4 can be customized and configured by a user, and the user can configure the preset 1-4 based on driving habits, physical quality of people in the vehicle and the like; meanwhile, the user can control the intensity of vehicle energy recovery based on operation of the acceleration controller and the brake controller.
