The wheel type driving system comprises a base body; a roller; the first cantilever is connected to the base body; the mounting seat is rotatably connected to the first cantilever in the horizontal direction, and the roller is mounted on the mounting seat; the first connecting rod comprises a first connecting end and a second connecting end, and the first connecting end is hinged to the mounting base; the steering transmission part is rotatably arranged on the base body in the horizontal direction, and the steering transmission part is hinged to the second connecting end; the driving mechanism is used for driving the steering transmission part to rotate so as to push the mounting seat to rotate through the first connecting rod to steer the roller; and the steering transmission part, the first connecting rod, the mounting seat and the first cantilever form a parallelogram connecting rod mechanism. According to the technical scheme, the mounting base is kept parallel to the steering transmission part, so that the posture of the roller is kept unchanged in the up-down shaking process, the problem of accidental deflection of the roller is solved, and the positioning walking accuracy is improved.
